Dia da Floresta: 2BForest obtém a 1ª Certificação de Serviços de Ecossistemas em Portugal!

Forest Day: 2BForest gets the 1st Ecosystem Services Certification in Portugal!

No passado dia 19/3/2021, a 2BForest obteve a certificação dos serviços dos ecossistemas, para áreas de 3 dos seus proprietários-membros do grupo "2B_Forest_Group", de acordo com FSC-PRO-30-006 V1-2 EN-ECOSYSTEM SERVICES PROCEDURE: IMPACT DEMONSTRATION AND MARKET TOOLS!

A obtenção desta certificação explicita para a valorização dos serviços ambientais, é a “condição chave” para a promoção de modelos de desenvolvimento mais sustentáveis geradores de riqueza num quadro de equilíbrio e de coesão territorial.

Este mecanismo serve como “incentivo para a proteção e o restauro de serviços de ecossistema florestais”, algo que irá permitir que a “biodiversidade seja considerada como uma componente patrimonial e um ativo com reconhecimento económico e social dos ecossistemas e dos serviços por ele prestados”!

Estes projetos serão colocados no mercado, abertos a investidores que pretendam associar-se a práticas sustentáveis ligadas à Biodiversidade, ao Carbono e ao Turismo!

On 19/3/2021, 2BForest obtained the certification of ecosystem services for areas of 3 of its owners of group 2"B_Forest_Group", according to FSC-PRO-30-006 V1-2 EN-ECOSYSTEM SERVICES PROCEDURE: IMPACT DEMONSTRATION AND MARKET TOOLS!

Obtaining this certification explains for the valorization of environmental services, it is the "key condition" for the promotion of more sustainable development models that generate wealth in a framework of balance and territorial cohesion.

This mechanism serves as an "incentive for the protection and restoration of forest ecosystem services", something that will allow "biodiversity to be considered as a heritage component and an asset with economic and social recognition of ecosystems and services provided by it"!

These projects will be placed on the market, open to investors who want to join sustainable practices related to Biodiversity, Carbon and Tourism!
